Wonderful trip, wonderful Inn, wonderful patchworkshop, wonderful students and an absolutely wonderful teacher. I came home with a bag (almost). I still need to adjust the top yellow peep edge and sew the bottom on. It has been so much fun, but tough too.
Anne, Birte and I left for Germany friday and visited Kerstin's shop to be ready for the lecture the next day. I was brave and didn't buy new fabric for this project, everything went as planned so far!
After this Kerstin's husbond took us to the Inn, where we were to stay for the night. Cosy, clean and really nice rooms, Anne's even had a sofa. Just the place to spend the night with friends.
Saturday the two other students turned up and there went my dertermination NOT to buy more fabric. Linda had found a black leather-look-alike and this just fit in beatifully with my green fabric. Having opened the "shopping", well I found some other things along the way ;))
It's was a small place, but I enjoyed every minute dispite the lack of space. Our teacher, Bente, was quick spotting us when needing help. A difficult job as we were working on different steps in the proces.
I didn't get the bag finished, Bente took a couple of extra hours to get us through to the bottom. I find my self confidential with the technique and will finish the bag, starting on tuesday in Birte's place. To day I'll be working on the tulip placemats.
